I care about how software works underneath the interface: APIs, databases, integrations, data pipelines, and the architecture connecting them. I currently build web systems with C#/.NET and Laravel at Nico Technologies, while continuing to deepen my work in backend engineering and system design.

Who I Am

I'm a software engineer with a full-stack background and a growing focus on the systems behind applications: backend architecture, APIs, databases, integrations, and data-intensive software. I currently work at Nico Technologies, building web systems for customers across the Nico Group, primarily with C# (ASP.NET) and Laravel.
My background spans the broader web ecosystem, including React, Vue, Next.js, Nuxt.js, and Spring Boot. Studying Management Information Systems at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences gave me a foundation that sits somewhere between software, technology, and business.
Outside of work, I build my own software and explore ideas that interest me: from Fast Budget, a daily-use budgeting app, to Malawi Recipes, a mobile app for Malawian cuisine, and Mpira Analytics, an ongoing project exploring football data and analytics in Malawi.
